Annual Clayton-Union County Legislative Luncheon
"Barbeque in January" The luncheon is from 11am-1:30pm at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, NM. Old Western Dance
Children Kindergarten through 6th grade compete in this western dance competition. Prizes given for best costumes and dancers. Public dance is held after the competition. It is held at the Clayton Civic Center.

Union County Health Fair
Held the 4th Wednesday in April, free health screenings, discounts on lab tests, blood drive, and various health exhibits offered. Concession stand is available. Call (575) 374-9361 for more info.

Annual Clayton Lake Trout Derby
Date TBA for 2010-2 days of fun with adult and children prize categories given for trout. Prizes also given for biggest channel cat, bass, and walleye. Kids sand dig, door prizes awarded throughout the derby, grand prize of a boat and $1,000. Held at Clayton Lake State Park. Call (800 390-7858 or (575) 374-9253 for more info.

Annual Clayton High School Reunion
Held the last Friday and Saturday of June. CHS alumni are invited to come back to their alma mater to visit with friends.

Annual 4th of July Parade & BBQ
4th of July parade at 10am through downtown Clayton, BBQ 12-2pm tickets available at the Chamber of Commerce. Rodeo and a public fireworks display at dark all held at the Fairgrounds.

FREE Street Dance
4th of July street dance held on Main St. 8pm-12am. Live band, many vendors including food booths.

Annual Rabbit Ears Roundup Rodeo & Celebration
(Date Subject to change) Rodeo performances held both days, Pokey the Clown's Junior & Senior Ranch Rodeos, prizes awarded. Held at the Union County Fairgrounds.
