This is the Official site of the Clayton-Union County Chamber of Commerce. Clayton is known as "Crossroads Country" and is located in the northeastern corner of New Mexico, bordering Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The elevation is 5,050 ft. with a population of approximately 2,303 as of July 2008.

Clayton offers many scenic and historic sites as well as a variety of attractions within driving distance that are great for 'day trips.' Come and see for yourself!
